During an “On The Radar” interview with Gabe P., Leo revealed a lot about his career. He started singing and rapping when he was 4 years old. His parents were the first people to notice his talent from a young age. Even as a kid, Leo was drawn to music as even the toys he loved the most were the ones that were music-related. This passion did not die out after he grew a bit older. While in school, you could say that Leo was the class entertainer, always rapping in class, and in his own words, “always rapping in the wrong places”. It was at age 11 when things really kicked off for him (I can’t even remember what I was up to at age 11😂). After that, LeoStayTrill went independent, even producing most of his songs, due to a lack of studio money. However, you could say that this sense of forced independence worked to his advantage as his popularity only went up over the years.
