A lover of the stage and theatre. Mayti got her first taste of theater at the tender age of 11 in a stage play titled “Ultimus Veneficus” at the Cleveland Playhouse. After solidifying her passion and desire for acting through this performance, she quickly wanted to venture into Hollywood. However, her mother offered her advice to first complete her post-secondary education before making the big move.
She went on to attend Kent State University where she participated in student productions in the African Community Theatre under Dr. Fran Dorsey’s direction. After just two months, Brittany went to L.A. to pursue her dream of acting on the big stage. Britanny has since appeared in several film and television productions. She first started off as a production assistant and worked as a production manager and coordinator. One of the most famous productions she co-produced is the short film “Bink”.

Mayti’s portrayal in “The Heartbreaker’s Revenge” (also known as Ex Games), which made its premiere in Haiti, earned her nominations for Best Actress at the 2015 MPAH Haiti Movie Awards. She was also nominated for the Nollywood & African Film Critics’ Awards (NAFCA), popularly known as the “African Oscars,” for Best Leading Actress in a Diaspora Film.
