Mark attended Concordia University, where he earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Film, Cinema, and Video Studies, graduating in 2012. From June 2005 to December 2009, he worked as a Martial Arts instructor at West Island Karate Club, just before he joined Concordia.
Between June 2011 and May 2012, Mark worked as a sales and customer representative at Future Shop in Montreal, Quebec. To the surprise of many, Mark has also worked as a substitute teacher at Commission Scolaire des Trois-Kacs between January 2015 and June 2015.
