Having been a fan of The Babylon Bee since its inception, venture investor Seth Dillon was intrigued with the idea of being able to acquire the Christian satire site which at that time was gaining lots of traction. Founded by Adam Ford in 2016 and launched in March of the same year, The Babylon Be was considered by many as the Christian (or conservative) version of The Onion.

The site was all about Christian satire news and published satirical articles on various topics such as politics, current affairs, government policies, public figures, and social justice. Maybe a little background of their relationship, Seth and Tara met in 2005 when Tara wrecked her car and needed a rental, fortunately, Seth was working at Enterprise and sold her the damage waiver. Later that day, Tara called Seth to ask him out and they got married 5 years later on March 14, 2010.

Seth is the son of Mitchell Wayne Dillon and Faith Barnett Dillon. His father Mitch was a reverend and has written a book titled; “Beyond Earthbound Dreams.” He has two siblings, the most notable being Dan Dillon.
