Vivian Tu is married to Greg Hunt, who works in private equity. A little backstory to how they met; Back in October 2016, Vivian crashed a friend’s night out at Le Poisson Rouge, and surprise surprise, Greg was there. they immediately vibed and became friends. However, Vivian has revealed that they didn’t meet again for at least six months at another one of Greg’s work events. After asking for her number, they went on a date the following day and the rest is history.
So how did Greg propose? After dating for six years, it finally came down to making things official and Greg wanted it to be grand, yet private. He rented out Villa Balbianello, one of Lake Como’s most renowned locations. As Vivian shared, the biggest challenge was to get her to the villa, in a dress and with makeup done without giving away the surprise, which Greg wittingly did with a fake-out, telling her that they were attending a friend’s black-tie birthday bash.
Vivian and her husband had their wedding in Italy at the iconic Villa Erba in a three-part event that paid homage to Vivian’s Chinese heritage. The wedding culminated in a farewell pool party which had a Candy Land theme.
